Rafson ehf was founded in 2017 and is an import company of high quality technical equipment from Europe. Rafson is owned by Guðmundur H. Sigurðarson, an electrical engineer who has worked in the electrical industry for over 20 years. Gudmundur’s area of expertise is general electrical wiring, cooling machines, electric motors, controllers, lighting design and telecommunications. He first started working with heat pumps in 2008 and decided to specialize in the field. Rafson ehf imports high quality heat pumps with complete solutions and the equipment connected to them, offering complete solutions in automatic control systems, smart cameras, access control systems, and telecommunication systems connected to smartphones and electric motors.

The company is in direct contact with the manufacturers of the equipment it sells here in Iceland, and can make up-to-date decisions on which equipment is best suited for specific projects at a certain time.
